- This is a closed robot competition, meaning any entrees must be used using the
official UofG Cup robot. This will also be the robot used for the official timings.
- For an entry to be considered, the contestant must submit:
- Their name, country, and contact email
- All files related to their implementation of the robot.
- Each entry will be tested and officially timed by a member of UofG Cup using the UofG Cup official race track.
- Each entry will be tested 3 times on each round. The best time of these 3 will be the time used to rank the entry.
- The contestants will be ranked based off the shortest time to completed the track.
- Their rank in the leaderboard for each round will allocate them a score which is collated for the overall competition.
- If part of the robot slightly passes of the track at any point, a time penalty of +2 seconds will be added to the time.
- This will be decided on a case-by-case basis from our official judge.
- If the robot completely goes off of the track, the robot will be disqualified and the entry will have a Did Not Finish (DNF) recorded.
- By entering into UofG Cup, you are making your submission open-source - anyone can view and use your code, and can alter it to their liking.
