1. This is a closed robot competition, meaning any entrees must be used using the official UofG Cup robot. This will also be the robot used for the official timings.
  2. For an entry to be considered, the contestant must submit:
    1. Their name, country, and contact email
    2. All files related to their implementation of the robot.
  3. Each entry will be tested and officially timed by a member of UofG Cup using the UofG Cup official race track.
    1. Each entry will be tested 3 times on each round. The best time of these 3 will be the time used to rank the entry.
  4. The contestants will be ranked based off the shortest time to completed the track.
    1. Their rank in the leaderboard for each round will allocate them a score which is collated for the overall competition.
    2. If part of the robot slightly passes of the track at any point, a time penalty of +2 seconds will be added to the time.
    3. This will be decided on a case-by-case basis from our official judge.
    4. If the robot completely goes off of the track, the robot will be disqualified and the entry will have a Did Not Finish (DNF) recorded.
  5. By entering into UofG Cup, you are making your submission open-source - anyone can view and use your code, and can alter it to their liking.
